Corporate responsibility

Pro bono projects

By taking on ‘free fees’ or pro bono projects, A.T. Kearney leverages some of its consultancy resources to assist mainly ‘not for profit’ organizations in their charitable efforts. Next to making a profound impact, economically, socially and environmentally, these types of projects provide a great experience for our consultants. Lilia Planjyan together with two other A.T. Kearney consultants helped Oxfam Fairtrade to map out their go-to-market strategy for their B-to-B clients including schools, hospitals or private companies. Lilia who enjoyed this project a lot said “In a short amount of time, we had an immense impact. The client was really enthusiastic about his collaboration with A.T. Kearney and appreciated the clarity of our analyses and recommendations. In general, very rewarding!”

Proudly carbon neutral

In 2007, A.T. Kearney was the first global consultancy firm pledging to become carbon neutral by 2010. In July 2010, A.T. Kearney fully achieved that target. We launched initiatives to limit internal travel and increase the use of public transport. We sought out innovative and collaborative technologies to interact with clients in more sustainable ways and created more energy efficient and environmentally friendly offices.

Globally, A.T. Kearney is widely quoted with regard to corporate social responsibility and sustainability issues.

Sustainability research and services for clients

As well as implementing high sustainability standards ourselves, we also research and deliver sustainable solutions for our clients. This year, some of our Dutch consultants supported The Carbon Disclosure Project’s Supply Chain Program. This is a unique collaboration of global corporations who are members of CDP Supply Chain. These companies recognize the significance of the supply chain in carbon management. These companies also share detailed data conducted with 1,000 participating suppliers across industries all over the world.

A.T.Kearney supports this initiative by analyzing the collected data and writing the Carbon Disclosure Supply Chain Report. This report is the most significant study of how business is managing supply chain emissions available to date.
