What is strategy consulting?

Strategy consulting is all about helping our clients to take the next step into the future. We do this by working in close co-operation with the client by forming a team with our consultants and the client’s employees. We don’t just deliver ideas and then walk away. To really make a difference and lasting impact, we use a hands-on approach and help our clients implement practical solutions. In essence, we provide four services:

Methodologies and knowledge: We develop methodologies and  use the acquired knowledge from previous projects in order to help our clients (mainly AEX or large private companies), to achieve the sustainable results which they have come to us for

Routine in non-routine activities: We work on issues that our clients only deal with once every 5 to 10 years. As we do this for multiple clients, we develop an established ‘routine’ in non-routine activities like strategy development or mergers & acquisitions. Our experience and expertise help us to deal with complex problems but as every client is different and no solution is  the same, we are challenged every day

Fact based analysis and impartiality: Working closely with our clients puts us in situations where we have to deal with opposing opinions on the client’s side, on board level as well as within other layers of the organisation. We use our fact-based analysis and non-colored vision to align individuals to create support for the solution

Deal with board issues under time pressure: We help our clients with board level issues under tight deadlines. We are the additional capacity which is necessary to deliver the right and most suited result on time

Root cause analysis

There are multiple reasons why a client contacts us. For instance, profit has been declining for a period, measures have been taken by the client but profit continues to decrease. You will be asked to perform a root cause analysis to systematically identify the root causes of the decline in profit in order to define effective corrective actions that will stop the decline.
